Spellbound

Spellbound’s ROYAL Book Club is hosting a Hunger Games party prior to the midnight premiere of the movie. After the party, many of us will reconvene at the Regal Biltmore Grande Stadium 15 (on Long Shoals Road) for the midnight premiere showing. Buying a ticket well in advance is strongly suggested, as at least one show has already sold out.

Local author Megan Shepherd will do a reading of the first chapter of The Hunger Games to set the mood. (Megan was also an extra in the movie and will be attending our party with other local extras.)

At 11pm, we will depart from Spellbound and caravan to the Biltmore Grande for the midnight screening of The Hunger Games.

This will be an all-ages, family friendly party, although of course due to the subject matter the movie will be most appropriate for teens and adults.

ROYAL is Spellbound’s monthly book club for adult Readers of Young Adult Literature. Anyone over 18 is welcome, no rsvp necessary. Book club selections are always 20% off until the day of the meeting.
