Author Allan Wolf will read from his novel in verse Zane’s Trace, winner of the North Carolina Young Adult Book Award and newly available in paperback for $7.99.
The book is nar
rated by a troubled teen who believes he can control the outcome of events by writing on his bedroom walls. Wolf will read from the book and share the story of how he discovered the power of words by writing on his own bedroom walls as a kid. Complete with photographs. Q & A and book signing to follow.
Wolf’s novel and his presentation are both meant for tweens, teens, and adults. Content may not be appropriate for children under ten years of age.
In honor of Zane Guesswind, the book’s narrator, we will be giving away Sharpie markers and serving his favorite refreshments (Mountain Dew and Pop Tarts).
